Kunnathur is a panchayat town in Tirupur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was previously under the jurisdiction of the Erode district.

All the buses from Tirupur to Gobichettipalayam & Gobichettipalaym to Coimbatore Pass via Kunnathur and have a 1-minute halt. Every 15–20 minutes there is a bus. Or one can come to Perumanallur and take the buses coming from Salem to Coimbatore. The buses from Tirupur to Erode pass via Kunnathur and have a 1-minute halt. Every 3 hours there is a bus.
