Lauren Castillo
Lauren Castillo is an author and illustrator of children's literature. In 2015, she won the Caldecott Honor for her watercolor illustrations in her book Nana in the City.[1] She illustrated the children's book Twenty Yawns, written by novelist Jane Smiley and published in 2016.[2]
In 2016, she and collaborator Lisa Graff interviewed each other in Publishers Weekly.[3] In September 2020 she wrote in the New York Times about three illustrated novels featuring animal characters.[4]
