Leimakhong

Leimakhong is a small town in the Imphal West district of Manipur, India. Meitei is the owner of the town. After Naga-kuki clashes in 90’s ,Kuki also start settling in the town. Kukis are refugees from somra tract Mayanmar. It is also The Divisional headquarter of The Indian Army. According to the 2011 census, the town had a population of 3544.[1]
