| Fashion designer Song Haomin gets jailed for running over Xie Enlin, causing her to be handicapped and thus destroying her modeling career. Haomin is guilt-ridden. When his jail term finishes, and at the same time, the Fox Spirit is banished to the mortal world, and as fate would have it, she ends up at Haomin’s residence. A foxy tale begins. | ||||

| Fox Spirit discovers a horrendous birthmark on her face and curses the Queen Mother of Heavens for deliberately making her life difficult. | In order to help Fox Spirit stay at the Song residence, Little Tree Spirit spins a story to mislead Tiancheng to believe that Liqin (Fox Spirit) is actually his illegitimate daughter. Tiancheng falls for it and decides to take Liqin in as his god-daughter. He asks Haomin to treat Liqin as a younger sister, much to Haomin's disbelief. | ||||

| Liqin accompanies Tiancheng to the supermarket. A meat-lover at heart, she instigates Tiancheng to buy all kinds of meat. Bingbing spots the pair and suspects that Liqin is the god-sister Haomin spoke about. However, upon seeing Liqin and Tiancheng being so intimate, Bingbing is led to think that Liqin is actually a Fox Spirit on a mission to seduce Tiancheng. | ||||

| While trying on clothes, Liqin spots Enlin trying to convince the shop owner to buy her designs. Unfortunately, the shop owner rejects her. Out of goodwill, Liqin offers to help Enlin sell her clothes, but in the process, she makes a fool out of herself and even runs into baddies. | ||||

| Haomin decides to use Liqin to help Enlin. He wants Liqin to convince Enlin that she was a former design student, give Enlin tips on design, and offer to let her sell her designs at a friend's boutique. Enlin is grateful to Liqin. Upon hearing that Enlin's legs were a result of an irresponsible driver, Liqin swears to take revenge for her. | ||||

| Enlin celebrates Liqin's birthday for her, dresses her up, and even gives Liqin her own pair of red high heel shoes. Haomin sees the pair of shoes, and tells Liqin not to wear them lest they evoke memories of the car accident. Liqin refuses, and only relents when Haomin agrees to buy her a new pair of heels. | ||||

| Lightning strikes, Liqin scurries behind Haomin in fear, much to Bingbing's displeasure. As the fox spirit's tail is revealed each time thunder roars, Liqin runs out of the study room to prevent Haomin from seeing her tail. Unknown to her, Bingbing is spying on, and is taken aback when she sees her fox tail. Liqin uses her magical prowess to erase Bingbing's memory. | ||||

| Enlin accidentally loses the bracelet Liqin gave her. In her anxiety to retrieve the bracelet, she almost gets knocked down by a bicycle. Thankfully, Haomin rescues her in time. Enlin is not appreciative. Instead, she gives Haomin a huge scolding. Liqin is shocked to discover that Haomin is the one who caused Enlin's handicap. | ||||

| Haomin helps a sickly Liqin home. Tiancheng probes about where Liqin had gone, Liqin refuses to disclose where she had gone. Tiancheng feels bad for Liqin. Enlin trails Haomin and Liqin. She discovers that they are siblings. Thinking that Haomin had gotten Liqin to butter her up, she develops a grudge toward them and swears to get back at them. | ||||

| Liqin goes up the hill to search for Renjie and gets lost. Haomin goes up the hill to search for Liqin, only to be bitten by a poisonous snake, causing him to have a high fever instantly. In his hazy state of mind, he sees an image of a fairy that somewhat resembles Liqin. The "fairy" gives him a breath of life that revives him. When Haomin comes to, he develops a romantic feeling for Liqin. | ||||

| Zikang is frustrated as Haomin's designs have not been in demand. Enlin colludes with Liyang, Enlin passes off Liyang's designs as her own and submits them to Zikang. She suggests to Zikang to have "her" designs placed on Haomin's racks. Zikang brings this up, Haomin agrees as he wants to give Enlin a chance, but little does he know that he has fallen into her trap. | ||||

| Enlin wants to create friction between Haomin and Liqin. She dopes Liqin's drink and leaves her and Haomin in the office together. The side-effects of the drug causes Liqin to pester Haomin. Haomin sees Liqin getting out of hand. He panics and locks her in the office. A soft-hearted Haomin feels worried for Liqin, he unlocks the door. At that moment, both are taken unconscious by a whiff of smoke. | ||||

| Tiancheng is forced to reveal that Liqin is his illegitimate daughter. He tells Haomin that Liqin is his sister and that they cannot fall in love. Haomin is taken aback by the news. He dashes out of the house in denial. The batch of designs are stalled, causing the crowd to go chaotic. Unfortunately, Zikang cannot locate Haomin. | ||||

| The designs that Enlin submits to Zikang are similar to an international company. Zikang rushes to retrieve the batch of clothes and tries to sound Enlin out for the truth. Enlin admits that she wanted to sabotage Haomin as she has never been able to forgive him. Zikang decides to spill the beans. In a moment of panic, Enlin pushes him down the stairs and locks him up. | ||||

| Liqin suspects that Zikang is at Enlin's house. She barges into Enlin's house and sees a sick and injured Zikang. She tries to rescue Zikang but is knocked unconscious by Enlin. Liqin tries to appeal to Enlin's soft side but Enlin shows no pity and even attacks her. Lightning strikes and Liqin exposes her real identity. She pushes Enlin to the ground and helps Zikang escape. | ||||

| Enlin charges at Liqin with a car, but ends up in a car accident. As Liqin attempted to help Enlin out of the car, Haomin arrives, only to see a fox tail coming out from Liqin's back. He gets a shock and avoids Liqin. Liqin is hurt that Haomin is unable to accept her as a fox spirit. Lightning strikes and Liqin runs off in fear. | ||||

| Liqin accompanies Tiancheng to meet Liyang. To their surprise, Liyang held a press conference to accuse Tiancheng of bribing him to cover up for Haomin's copyright infringement. In the spur of the moment, Tiancheng almost attacks Liyang. He restrains himself and ends up being scoffed at. Upon witnessing the scene, Haomin rushes upfront and throws a fist at Li Yang. | ||||

| Enlin does not wish to implicate Zikang. Before she leaves, she sends an email to Haomin with a phone recording to expose Liyang. She hopes to help Haomin clear his name.
