There are over 110 species within the land snail genus Amphidromus.[1][2]

These species are divided into three subgenera:,[3] accepted as an alternate representation

All species of the subgenus Syndromus are sinistral with two exceptions: amphidromine Amphidromus glaucolarynx and dextral Amphidromus kruehni.[18]
