List of Good Luck episodes
MediaCorp Channel 8's television series Good Luck is a Lunar New Year drama serial produced by MediaCorp Singapore in 2014. The series is about an estranged family and how they reconcile their conflicts and differences to reunite in time to welcome a new year and celebrate longevity, happiness and wealth.
As of 4 March 2015, all 20 episodes of Good Luck have been aired on MediaCorp Channel 8.[1]

| Lin-He Xiangniang (Hong Huifang), a centenarian, lives alone in a villa with her maid, Fen-jie (Zhu Xiufeng). She has four sons and one daughter. When she was 54, she adopted her good friend’s granddaughter, Xiaozhen (Chen Liping). Xiangniang’s eldest son has died. Her second son, Xiaoyi, and daughter, Xiaolian, have emigrated. Only her third son, Xiaohe (Chen Shucheng); youngest son, Xiaoping (Li Wenhai); and Xiaozhen are around. Xiaohe has failed repeatedly in his business; Xiaoping and his wife often create problems; and Xiaozhen has a gambling habit. Disappointed in them all, Xiangniang gave them a part of her fortune and threw them out 20 years ago. She is sad Fen-jie is retiring soon but refuses to show it. | |||

| When Xiangniang falls into a coma, Xiaohe, Xiaoping and Xiaozhen is worried about the allocation of her assets and tries to find her will. Jiayuan (Aloysius Pang) accidentally opens Xiangniang's safe and finds her will stating that she intends to donate all her assets to charity. The trio is devastated by this. Jiayuan uses his handphone to record the trio's ill intentions. | |||

| Xiangniang awakens from her coma but she does not remember many things. Everyone is worried that her condition will worsen and they will not be able to receive any of her assets. Xiaozhen wants Shijun (Zhang Zhenhuan) to write a new will to try to get Xiangniang to sign on it before finding a lawyer to process it legally. Jiayuan is astonished to see all the family members coveting after Xiangniang's assets. | |||

| Shihui (Chris Tong) and Liu Xuan (Romeo Tan) prepares for a flash marriage. As both of their apartments are rented out, Liu Xuan decides to stay at Shihui's house temporarily. Xiaohe is unhappy after finding out and criticizes Liu Xuan for getting married despite not having the abilities to. Because of this, Shihui has a conflict with her father. Liu Xuan assures Shihui that he will do his best to get Xiaohe to accept him. | |||

| Xiangniang finally signs the will but immediately tears the will apart, disappointing the family members. Jiayuan tells everyone that Xiangniang knows about what they have done. He takes out 4 discs and distributes to everyone, claiming that these are evidence. Xiaohe and the rest sees their ugly side in these discs and feel remorse. | |||

| Xiaozhen chases Youda and beats him up. He is her husband. He left her not long after their wedding. She asks for his phone number. Though he gives her a fake number, she guesses what the correct one is. Xiaozhen knows Enqi is very busy at the restaurant but cannot bring herself to go back. When she sees Shijun going out to buy ingredients, she accompanies him and amazes him with her stingy approach. Shijun tells Xiaozhen that Enqi’s cooking is rather good and business is brisk. He urges her to return home, but she will not until Enqi apologises to her. Enqi is happy when Shijun returns with the ingredients and helps to take care of Bao’er. | |||

| Youda claims it was Xiangniang who had chased him away years ago. Infuriated, Xiaozhen acts to sever ties with Xiangniang. Shijie explains that Xiangniang had her reasons for doing so, but Xiaozhen does not believe him. Xiangniang tells Shijie she did not reveal the truth for fear of hurting Xiaozhen further. Jiayuan suggests Shijie and Suxian talk to Xiaozhen and persuade her to sort things out with Xiangniang. He wants to use the opportunity to bring his parents together. Suxian assumes Shijie still has a fruit orchard in Australia and can support Jiayuan. Shijie refrains from telling her the truth. | |||

| Anxious about Xiaozhen, who has been missing for days, Xiangniang loses her appetite. The New Year is approaching, and since Xiangniang will be celebrating her birthday as well, Jiayuan suggests a party. Xiangniang tells him to complete the first task she has given him. Enqi goes out to look for Xiaozhen and asks Shijun to take care of Bao’er. She feels bad that he has been helping out at the restaurant voluntarily, and decides to pay him a salary. He asks to become a shareholder of the restaurant instead. He reveals Xiaoping will help him financially after selling the tailor shop. One of Xiaoping’s former customers lends him money to keep the tailor shop going. Shijun is incensed, and quarrels with his father. Liu Xuan finds out Shihui has been loitering in the streets on the pretext of working overtime, to avoid returning home. However, he cannot bring himself to make the tenants leave. | |||

| Shijie buys a ring and prepares to propose to Suxian. He meets her old pal, Peiwen, at a cake shop. He learns Peiwen is a single mother with a son, Ocean, and suspects Ocean could be his son, as he had a one-night stand with Peiwen years ago while in a drunken stupor. Suxian waits with anticipation for Shijie and is upset when he runs off at the last minute. Back home, she tells Jiayuan not to waste his efforts again. Shihui works till late to finish the work for Roy within the stipulated time, and is exhausted when she arrives back home. Exasperated about the noise from the tenants, she checks into a hotel for the night. | |||

| Xiangniang prepares Xiaozhen’s favourite foods and asks Jiayuan to deliver it to her at the temple. She has long guessed where Xiaozhen is staying. Xiaozhen has been going around asking people for leftover cloth, so that she can make a patchwork blanket for Xiangniang as a gesture of apology. When Jiayuan turns up, she declares she is too ashamed to return home. Xiangniang goes the temple to ask Xiaozhen to return home. Xiaozhen reveals that she considers herself a jinx, as when she joined the family, Xiangniang’s eldest son and daughter-in-law died. Xiangniang shares that she had delivered opium to earn money to feed the children after her husband died. Opium destroyed the lives of many. Xiangniang suffered the consequences and had adopted Xiaozhen to make up for her misdeeds. Mother and daughter finally reconcile. | |||

| Shijie is upset to learn Ocean is his son. He wants to return to Australia, and feels uneasy when Suxian invites Peiwen and Ocean to move in with them. Jiayuan learns about Ocean and decides to keep the secret. Enqi feels consoled when Xiaozhen seems to change for the better and works hard. Shijun sets up a website and accepts many orders. The workers are exhausted. His plan is to boost sales, so as to be able to open a branch next year. | |||

| Shijie is happy Peiwen assumes Nelson is Ocean’s biological father. He decides to make Ocean his godson. Jiayuan urges him to propose to Suxian and get Peiwen to move out as soon as possible. Shijie is about to propose to Suxian when she stumbles upon Ocean’s DNA report. He has no choice but to admit to the one-night stand he had with Peiwen. Disappointed in her husband and good friend, Suxian storms off. Peiwen feels bad but is glad Ocean’s father is Shijie. | |||

| Shihui returns from her trip. Flora hands her the clients Roy had poached. Pleased, she gives her parents and Liu Xuan a treat before heading to Indonesia for a business trip. Liu Xuan learns how Miley was fired, and rants at Shihui at the restaurant. Xiaohe is incensed when Shihui tells Liu Xuan they can get divorced if he regrets marrying her. Shihui packs her things and leaves on her business trip without telling Liu Xuan. | |||

| Xiaozhen suspects Shijun is planning to take the restaurant away from Enqi. Enqi dismisses her mother as being prejudiced. Xiaozhen moves to Xiangniang’s house after arguing with Enqi. She goes all out to make life difficult for Peiwen. Liu Xuan learns Enqi has been doubly busy since Xiaozhen left. He offers to take care of Bao’er at the school and take her home. Xiangniang reminds Xiaozhen that her not returning will give others a chance to get what they want. | |||

| Shijie finally tells Jiayuan he has sold the fruit orchard in Australia to aid his debts. He wants her to persuade Suxian to marry her colleague and go to Taiwan. Jiayuan thinks Shijie is only saying this because he wants to keep his money for Ocean. Peiwen is well aware Shijie is not Ocean’s father but wants to hold on to him. Xiangniang thwarts her attempt to get intimate with him. Xiangniang tells Peiwen that Shijie is in debt and needs her to help him resolve his problems. | |||

| Liu Xuan discovers Shihui is pregnant and wants to abort the baby. He tells Yunxiu, who advises Shihui not to pursue divorce; she asserts that a child is a good bridge in a marriage. Troubled, Shihui warns Yunxiu not to tell anyone about his situation. Suxian decides to go to Taiwan and is bidding Xiangniang goodbye when she learns Shijie has fainted. He reveals he is dying of leukaemia and has decided to leave what he has for Jiayuan to get a degree. | |||

| Enqi’s restaurant is suspended for one week. Shijun blames Youda for tricking him and demands compensation. He even asserts that he is merely a small shareholder in the restaurant and wants to withdraw the funds he has invested. Already disappointed in him, Enqi is shattered when he makes it clear he merely regards her as a sister. Xiaozhen beats Shijun up for cheating Enqi of her feelings. Xiaoping defends his son and is hit by Xiaozhen too. He quarrels with Xiaozhen when he insists on his money being returned. | |||

| Xiangniang is disappointed her kin have refused to fly back to Singapore to celebrate her birthday. Shijie and Suxian announce that Xiangniang will be splitting the family fortune on her birthday, on condition everyone returns for the celebration. Shijie worries when Suxian warns him not to lie to her again. Youda tries hard to find the friend who had sold him the bootleg liquor. Shijun gathers some leads and calls Youda to join him in the confrontation. Both are beaten up. | |||

| Shijie proposes to Suxian and reveals he had lied about his condition. Infuriated, she leaves in a huff. Xiaohe misses having Yunxiu wait on him at home but is too proud to beg her to return. Shihui encourages Yunxiu to take steps to restore her pride. When Xiangniang learns it was Yunxiu who had left the relationship, she agrees Xiaohe needs to be taught a lesson. Xiangniang tells Shihui all parents care about their children, which is why Xiaohe is always at odds with her. Enlightened, Shihui is decides to learn how to make a patchwork blanket for her parents. | |||

| Xiangniang is happy everyone has returned home for the reunion dinner. As Xiaolian misses her vermicelli dish, Xiangniang decides to cook some personally. However, hearing her children discuss the inheritance makes her sad. During dinner, Xiangniang asserts that she knows everyone rushed home because of the inheritance. Shijie admits he had lied and is scolded by everyone. Xiangniang promises to fulfil their wishes. | |||
