This is a list of administrators and Governors of Taraba State, Nigeria. Taraba State was created out of the former Gongola State on 27 August 1991 by the military government of General Ibrahim Babangida.

Darius Dickson Ishaku Governor 29 May 2015 Incumbent PDP Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of the PDP won the April 11, 2016 governorship election and went on to win the rerun elections. He subsequently successfully defended his victory at the Supreme court which cleared any doubt of his victory.[1][2]
