List of Sheriffs of Norfolk County, Massachusetts

This is a list of Sheriffs of Norfolk County, Massachusetts.[1] The Sheriff is elected to serve a six-year term and oversees the Norfolk County House of Correction.[2]

The current Sheriff is Patrick W. McDermott.

22nd Jerry McDermott 2018 - 2021 Republican Was appointed by Gov. Charlie Baker[2]
23rd Patrick W. McDermott 2021-present Democrat Former Register of Probate (2002-2020). McDermott (D) ran against Jerry McDermott (R) in the 2020 election. The two are not related.
