Lori Wick

Lori Wick is an author of Christian Romance novels. She writes a combination of historical and contemporary inspirational romance novels.[1][2] Many of her books are published by Harvest House.

Wick's stories have a didactic focus and the couples in her novels conform very closely to traditional gender roles; critics have pointed out that in her various books she tends to describe similar characters with identical dilemmas, and that heterosexual marriage and children are assumed to be essential to everybody's happiness.[3]

Awards and honors

Wick won the 2005 Christian Retailing's Best—Women's Fiction,[4] and INSPY listed her as one of the "Authors who Brought Inspirational Fiction into the 21st Century.[5]" She is a four-time finalist for the ECPA Gold Medallion Award.[6][7]

Personal life

Wick lives in Wisconsin with her husband and three children.
