Lorong Waktu (TV series)

Lorong Waktu (en. Passage of Time) is an Islamic religious science fiction television series produced by PT Demi Gisela Citra Sinema and aired by SCTV every Ramadan month in 6 seasons from 1999 until 2006.[1] The series was created by Deddy Mizwar who also one of lead character and director/producer in the series.[2] The title was based on Al-Asr (Arabic: سورة العصر‎, The Time), one of the suras in the Koran.

The story of this series is about the discovery of a time machine by Ustād Addin. Addin himself is a student and adopted son of Haji Husin. Aside from Ustad Addin, Haji Husin has a young student named Zidan.[3]

According to Vice, the series is one of the best Ramadan television series in Indonesia in the late 1990s to the early 2000s.[4]
