Maanvi Gagroo (born 5 September 1985) is an Indian film actress,[2][3] who has also worked in various web series like TVF Pitchers, TVF Tripling and Four More Shots Please!.[4]

Early Life and background

Maanvi was born to Surender and Urmi Gagroo in New Delhi on 5 September 1985.[1][5] Maanvi studied the Indian dance form Kathak until she was 12.[6] In 2011, she was also part of an ad campaign along with Abhishek Bachchan for Idea. She completed her schooling from The Mother's International School, New Delhi and has a degree in psychology from Gargi College.[1]

Career

Maanvi began her career with the Disney Channel's television show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom[7][6] in 2007. She is known for her work in web series like TVF Pitchers, TVF Tripling, Made in Heaven[8] and Four More Shots Please!. In 2019, she portrayed the character of 'Apsara',[9][10] a plus size woman in a comedy movie Ujda Chaman opposite Sunny Singh, for which she wore a fat suit.[11][12] She has worked with Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.[12] The film deals with the subject of same-sex love and Maanvi played the role of a 'quirky bride'.[8] She was next seen in second season of Four More Shots Please! which premiered on 17th April.[13][8][14]
