Mackilligin's gerbil

Mackilligin's gerbil (Dipodillus mackilligini)[6] also known as Mackilligin's dipodil,[7][8] is a species of rodent in the family Muridae. It occurs in the southeastern deserts of Egypt and probably in nearby Sudan. It has been grouped with Dipodillus nanus, but is now considered specifically distinct.[9]
