Macnivil
Martin Longkümer (born 7 July 1992), known professionally as Macnivil, is a Naga rapper and songwriter.[1] He is considered as one of the pioneers of the Nagamese Hip hop scene in Nagaland. He further gained success after the release of his album Ura Uvie.[2]

Early life and career
Macnivil was born on 7 July 1992[3] in Kohima, Nagaland.[4] He did his schooling from Ministers' Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School in Kohima, Nagaland. In 2019, Macnivil gained great success for releasing Ura Uvie, the first ever rap album in the Nagamese language.[2]
Awards
In 2019, Macnivil's music video Wait For Me from his album Ura Uvie was declared as the song of the year during the 11th Music Awards of Nagaland (MAN) ceremony held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma on 9 November 2019.[6][7] Macnivil's Ura Uvie was also awarded the Best Song under the Rap/Hip hop category in the 12th Music Awards of Nagaland held on 1 October 2020.[8]
