Madison Keys career statistics

This is a list of the main career statistics of American professional tennis player, Madison Keys. To date, Keys has won five WTA singles titles, including one Premier 5, four Premier, and reached four more finals. Having first cracked the top 100 after reaching the third round at the 2013 Australian Open, Keys introduced herself to the wider public when she reached the Australian Open semifinals in 2015 as a teenager, losing to the World No. 1 and eventual champion Serena Williams. She cracked the top 20 for the first time following the tournament. On June 20, 2016, Keys achieved a top 10 ranking for the first time in her career, which she secured by reaching the Birmingham final.[1] In September 2017, Keys reached her first Grand Slam final at the 2017 US Open.[2]

Notes

  • 1 WTA Tournament of Champions was held from 2009 to 2014, when WTA Elite Trophy replaced it.
  • 2 Keys withdrew from the 2018 WTA Elite Trophy prior to the semifinals round match due to a left knee injury and was replaced in the semifinals by Wang Qiang. This does not officially count as a loss.
  • 3 Keys withdrew from the 2018 China Open prior to her second round match due to a left knee injury, which does not officially count as a loss.
  • 4 The first Premier 5 event of the year has switched back and forth between the Dubai Tennis Championships and the Qatar Open since 2009. Dubai was classified as a Premier 5 event from 2009 to 2011 before being succeeded by Doha for the 2012–2014 period. In 2015, Dubai regained its Premier 5 status while Doha was demoted to Premier status. The two tournaments have since alternated status every year.
  • 5 Keys withdrew from the 2018 Italian Open prior to her third round match due to a rib injury, which does not officially count as a loss.
  • 6 In 2014, the Pan Pacific Open was downgraded to a Premier event and replaced by the Wuhan Open.
  • 7 2020 Wimbledon Championships wasn't held due to COVID-19 pandemic.
