Mahas District
Mahas (Soomaali: Maxaas), is a district in central Hiran region of Somalia and is inhabited by Hawadle clan.
Location: Hiran Province, Somalia
Population: 25,000
Mahas is bordered by Elbur of Galgadud, Bulaburde of Hiran, Mataban of Hiran, Adan Yabal of Middle Shabelle and Beledweyne district of Hiran.
The city has major sub-districts including Moqokori, Teedaan, Goobo, Juujuule and Suubo.
