Mala Oru Mangala Vilakku

Mala Oru Mangal Vilakku (transl.Mala is an auspicious lamp) is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language film directed by S. Mukherjee.[2] The film stars Chittor V. Nagaiah, N. N. Kannappa and Madhuri Devi.[1][3]

Production

The film was produced by actress Madhuri Devi under the banner Radhakrishna Films. The director was S. Mukherjee, her husband, who also wrote the story. A. L. Narayanan wrote the dialogues. Cinematography was handled by C. J. Mohan Rao.[1]

Soundtrack

Music was composed by C. N. Pandurangan while the lyrics were penned by Villiputhan and Era. Pazhanichami. Playback singers are R. Balasaraswathi Devi, Soolamangalam Rajalakshmi, (Radha) Jayalakshmi, A. M. Rajah, Sirkazhi Govindarajan, P. B. Srinivas, Thangappan and A. V. Saraswathi.[4]
