Marian Popa

Marian Popa (born 3 March 1964) is a Romanian former football striker.[2][3] On 9 June 1993 he scored six goals for Farul Constanța in a Divizia A match against Oțelul Galați which ended with a 6–3 victory.[2][4][5] In 1994 he played in the first ever Supercupa României, scoring the only goal of the game against Gloria Bistrița, helping Steaua win the trophy.[6] In December 2020 Marian is due to make his debut for Oldman Unathletic in the Monday night veterans league in Willenhall. Marian has stated he is looking forward to returning to action and thinks he will be able to adapt quickly as Romania and Willenhall are very similar.
