Mariya Sizova

Mariya Sizova also written as Marija Sizova (Мария Сизова; born June 1995) is a Kazakhstani former long track speed skater, who was active between 2006 and 2019.[1]

Sizova represented her nation at international competitions. As a junior she became three times national junior champion. She participated from 2012 at ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating events and at the 2013 and 2014 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At the 2014 World University Speed Skating Championships she won the bronze medal in the 500 metres and 1500 metres events.[2] At senior level she participated at 2013-14 ISU Speed Skating World Cup events in Calgary (Canada) and Salt Lake City (United States).[1] She also competed at other international competitions, including at the 2017 Asian Winter Games in the 500 metres event (finishing 13th), 1000 metres event (finishing 13th) and 1500 metres event (finishing 14th). At the 2017 Winter Universiade she participated in three events.[2]

Between 2010 and 2018 she had a total of 32 starts at national championships. She never became national champion, but won eight silver and seven bronze medals at national championships.[2]
