Mark Aslett is President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercury Systems, a technology company serving the aerospace and defense industries. Aslett became CEO and was elected to Mercury's Board of Directors in 2007.

Education

Aslett received a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a First Honors bachelor's degree in digital systems engineering from The University of Sunderland.[1]

Early career

Prior to his career at Mercury, Aslett was President and Chief Executive Officer of Enterasys Networks. Earlier in his career, he held various positions with Marconi plc and affiliated companies, including Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Portfolio Management for Marconi Capital, and President of Marconi Communications – North America. Preceding his employment at Marconi plc, Aslett worked at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, and other telecommunications-related technology firms. His career began in software engineering at British Telecommunications.[2]

Aslett serves on the Executive Committee for the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA)[3] and the Massachusetts High Technology Council (MHTC).[4]

Glassdoor named Aslett as the top CEO in the United States for his leadership during the COVID-19 crisis.[5] Forbes credited Aslett for prioritizing the health, safety, and livelihoods of Mercury’s more than 1,700 employees from the outset of the pandemic.[6]
