Marstonia pachyta

The armored marstonia, scientific name Marstonia pachyta, also known as Pyrgulopsis pachyta, is a species of freshwater snail, an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Hydrobiidae.

Pyrgulopsis pachyta (F. G. Thompson, 1977)

This species is endemic to Alabama, in the United States,[1] where it is found in only two creeks, both in Limestone County.[2] Its natural habitat is rivers.[1] It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
