During an interview by Tamar Yonah on her radio talk show dated June 20, 2006 on the topic of Antelman's books "To Eliminate the Opiate, Vol. 1 and 2" (see below), when describing her guest to the audience and listing his achievements she said, "You should do a search on him and you'll probably meet the smartest man you've ever met in your life.".[2]

Antelman authored two encyclopedias: The analytical encyclopedia of thermoplastic materials (1974).[3] and The encyclopedia of chemical electrode potentials (New York, 1982; 359 records in Worldcat[4] and 181 academic citations[5] as of July 2020.

In 1971, Antelman was one of the founders of the Jewish Survival Legion, which split from the Jewish Defense League in order to solve many of the same problems attacked by the JDL but "within the framework of the law."[6]

In 1974 Antelman published the book To Eliminate the Opiate, Vol. 1[7] Taking its name from Marx's Opium of the people epithet against religion, the book traces the roots and branches of Sabbatean, Frankist, and Illuminati groups that the book claims are loosely aligned and which conspire to eliminate religion and replace it with a tyrannical one like that described in Plato's Republic. In 1976, Antelman, Chief Justice along with his 13-member Supreme Rabbinical Council of America, performed an excommunication of Henry Kissinger from Judaism, on account of anti-Jewish and anti-American actions that the Council alleged.[8] In November 1982 Antelman's Beit Din excommunicated hundreds more Jews on account of being Sabbatean Frankist conspirators.[9] Due to fierce personal attacks and legal attacks (which he defeated in court) that beset him following the publication of the first volume, the sequel "To Eliminate the Opiate, Vol. 2" was not published until 2002.[10][11] Billy Jack Dial, a prominent Noahide leader,[12] featured this book prominently on the front page of his website in 2006 and wrote, "These books are available at Shop.BnaiNoach.com [defunct], and happen to be one of the most powerful resource of truth of all times. Here Rabbi Marvin S. Antelman confronts the evil empire with the revelation of truth, and defies all the conspiracy theories and transforms those theories into reality. These books will leave the reader shocked and awed as the cloak of secrecy is stripped off of the organizations and individuals who actively sought to bring harm to the Torah of G-d, and its followers."[13]

In 1996 Antelman filed U.S. Patent 5,676,977, claiming to cure AIDS with a single injection of tetrasilver tetroxide (trademarked Tetrasil by Marantech Holding Company, LLC).[14] In 2001 he filed an improvement on this patent that minimized side effects such as hepatoxicity by slowing the rate of injection.[15]

Antelman is also known for promoting a novel ruling allowing a beit din to serve a Jewish divorce to a wife where the divorce is beneficial and the man is unwilling, on the basis that the court may perform a transaction on behalf of a man if it is to his benefit.[16]

Antelman was a Religious Zionist and last lived in Israel, passing away on September 11, 2013.[17]
