Mayumi Kagawa

Mayumi Kagawa (Japanese: 香 川 真由美; born July 1974) is a Japanese former long track speed skater, who was active between 1992 and 2002.[1]

As a junior Kagawa participated at the 1993 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At elite level Kagawa represented her nation at the 1997 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in the 500 metres event, finishing 7th.[2] At the 1997 Asian Speed Skating Championships she won the silver medal in the 500 metres event and 1000 metres event. She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups, the 1996 Asian Winter Games and 2000 Asian Speed Skating Championships.[2]

Between 1997 and 2002 she had a total of 15 starts at national championships, but never won a medal.[2]
