McAdams Park
McAdams park is located in Wichita, Kansas at 1329 E. 13th St. North. The park was originally named McKinley park when it opened in 1901. For 27 years, the Director of McKinley park was Emerson McAdams. In 1966, shortly after his death,[1] the park was renamed to honor him.[2]
Later parcels were added in 1941, 1946, and 1980.[3]
