Melrose Boys' Basketball was the first team in Tennessee History to go undefeated and win a state title. .[2] 2009–10 Boys' Basketball Team won the school's fourth state championship.[3] Melrose Power house football team 1996 & 1998 state Champions.[2] In 2004 & 2005 the football program made back to back State Championships runs .[4] [5]
