Michael E. Smith (artist)
Michael E. Smith is an American artist whose minimal sculptures often juxtapose appropriated, discarded everyday items[1] found in urban decay and on eBay.[2] His works have been shown in MoMA PS1, SculptureCenter, and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum.[1] Smith is based in Providence, Rhode Island. He is represented in the United States by Andrew Kreps Gallery and in the United Kingdom by Stuart Shave Modern Art.[1]
