Michigan's 51st House of Representatives district

Michigan's 51st House of Representatives district (also referred to as Michigan's 51st House district) is a legislative district within the Michigan House of Representatives. It is located in parts of two different counties. In Genesee County, it encompasses Argentine Township, Atlas Township, Fenton Township, Flushing Township, Gaines Township, and Linden. In Oakland County, it encompasses Groveland Township, Holly Township, and Rose Township. Fenton, which has parts in both counties, is also in this district.[3] The district was created in 1965, when the Michigan House of Representatives district naming scheme changed from a county-based system to a numerical one.[4]
