Minamoto no Yoshiyasu
Minamoto no Yoshiyasu (源 義康 1139-1195) was son of Yoshikuni and ancestor of the Ashikaga branch family of the Minamoto. Yoshiyasu was a samurai and participated in the Hogen Rebellion in 1156. While in the rebellion, he burned one of the Minamotos mansion in Kyoto, and killed Minamoto no Tameyoshi. He was killed shortly afterward in 1157.
