Miranda Granger
Miranda Layne Granger (born April 13, 1992)[1] is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the strawweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Background
The daughter of Gordy and Cheryl Granger, Miranda was born and raised in Everett, Washington.[4] She attended Snohomish High School for two years before transferring to Glacier Peak High School from where she graduated in 2010.[5] Besides training taekwondo, she lettered overall ten times in soccer, basketball and softball.[5] After the high school, Miranda continued playing softball and basketball while attending Everett Community College for a year before transferring to Bellevue College where she focused in softball.[4]
After the college she returned to martial arts and begun to train kickboxing before picking up other disciplines of mixed martial arts.[4]
Mixed martial arts career
Early career
Compiling a perfect 6–0 record in only two years ago, Granger won the DFC Strawweight Championship and in her fight right before joining the UFC, he handily beat Brazil’s Heloisa Azevedo in 41 seconds to win the inaugural Cage Fury Fighting Championships women’s strawweight (115 pounds) world championship.[6]
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Granger made her UFC debut at flyweight on August 3, 2019 at UFC on ESPN: Covington vs. Lawler.[7] She won the fight via unanimous decision. [8]
Granger made her return to strawweight on December 21, 2019 at UFC on ESPN+ 23 as an injury replacement for Veronica Macedo against Amanda Lemos.[9] She lost the fight via technical submission.[10]
Granger faced Ashley Yoder on November 14, 2020 at UFC Fight Night: Felder vs. dos Anjos.[11] She lost the fight via unanimous decision.[12]
Personal life
Granger has been married to a fellow mixed martial artist Kaden Barish since 2016.[13][5]
