In 1984 he graduated with a master's degree from Saint Petersburg Academy of Art and Design. In 1990, Misha immigrated to United States. He continues to work in his studio in Boston, while his works are exhibited in museums and private collections in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Russia and Israel.
He has created watercolors commissioned by DKNY, Calvin Klein, Harvard University, Boston, Chicago and Colorado Symphony orchestras, and several international jazz venues, including Tanglewood Jazz Festival.[2]
