Mohan Sundar Deb Goswami

Mohan Sundar Deb Goswami (8 August 1892 - 11 January 1948) was an Indian poet and film director who worked in Odia-language films. He was also a guru of Rahasa or Rasa, a traditional theatrical form depicting the romance of Radha and Krishna, and an Odissi musician, composer and singer. He has many gramophone records to his credit, under the label His Master's Voice. His records consist of different kinds of Odissi classical songs such as chaupadi, chhanda, champu, bhajana, janana and kirtana.[3] He had a major role in creating the first Odia film Sita Bibaha in the year 1936. He directed, produced and acted in this film.
