Mongol Pur Kalan

Mangol Pur Kalan is a locality in Delhi. This village is about 1000 years old village. The population of this village is over 13,000.and the village which was urbanized during the 1980s and lies on North-west region of city of Delhi. It has a very famous 'Kali Mata Mandir' where devotees come from all across India. It is believed that Mangol Pur Kalan village is the origin of the idol of 'Sheetla Mata' in Gurgaon. It also has India's largest Marble and Tile market. It is a village inhabited by the Jats, from whom everyone from the Mughals to the British feared. The majority Jats in this village are of DAGAR and Shokken Jat Gotras.
