History

Establishment

MDPS was established in 1987, barely two years after the two Angelic Sisters, Mother Alessandra Sala and Sr. Teresa Bianco came to the Philippines. MDPS officially opened in 1988 to 90 young learners; classes were conducted at the ground floor of the Sisters' Convent (now the High School Building). In 1990 the Grade 1 class was added with 61 students. The increasing number of students necessitated the Sisters to buy the land next to the convent for the construction of a three-story building. In 1996, MDPS opened its High School Department. The first students graduated high school in 2000.[1]

2016

On the year 2016, the MDPS community established its first batch of Grade 11 Senior High School students. Then on the succeeding year, it had its first batch of Grade 12 Senior High School students. Around the same year, the school bought a contract with Aralinks for them to provide 52" TV's and laptops to the school for educational purposes.

2018

On the year 2018. the school adapted to a "New Generation School" (NGS) system where students are provided with tablets which they could use during class as a mean of interaction, and also for recording their grades
