Mount Daibosatsu

Mount Daibosatsu (大菩薩嶺) stands in the Yamanashi side of Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park. The peak itself is in Kōshū, Yamanashi. It is 2,057 metres (6,749 ft) high. Daibosatsu Pass divides Kōshū from Kosuge Village. Trails lead to the top from Kōshū, Tabayama, and Kosuge.[1]

Daibosatsu is one of the 100 Famous Mountains of Japan.[2] [3]

Access

The start of trail up the Mount Daibosatsu is located near to Hashidate-shita busstop or Kosuge-no-Yu. Their busstops are operated by Nishi Tokyo Bus which is bound for Okutama Station, Fujikyu Bus which is bound for Otsuki Station or Uenohara Station, Kosuge Municipal Bus.

Besides, the top of mountain is near to lodge Chōbē - ロッヂ長兵衛 and the lodge is close to Kamihikawa busstop. The busstop is operated by Eiwa Transportation and the bus which pass through the busstop is bound for Kai-Yamato Station.

Moreover, there is Daibosatsu-Tōge Tozanguchi busstop in Koshu, Yamanashi. The busstop is operated by Koshu Municipal Bus, and the bus which pass though the busstop is bound for Enzan Station.
