Murad
Murad (Arabic: مراد) or variants Murat, Mourad, Morad and Mrad is an Arabic origin, and common Armenian, Azerbaijani, Turkish, Kurdish, Persian, Berber languages and Pakistani male given name and is commonly used throughout the Muslim and Arab worlds.[1]
Etymology
It is derived from the Arabic Semitic triliteral root رود (r-w-d). Its Arabic meaning can be translated roughly into wanted,[2] desired, wished for, yearned or goal.
