Nabil Gholam
Nabil Gholam is a Lebanese architect, urban planner and the founder of Nabil Gholam Architects (ngª). in Modern Architecture: A Critical History, critic Kenneth Frampton cited Gholam's colony of holiday chalets at Faqra as one of "two works [which] promise a renewal of Lebanese architecture".[1]

Biography
Nabil Gholam first studied Architecture at the UP-Paris Villemin (now merged into École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Val de Seine). He then completed studies in Urban Planning at the Graduate School of Architecture of Columbia University in New York City.[2]
After working for several years at Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, he founded Nabil Gholam Architects (ngª) in Beirut in 1994. In 2004 the firm established a secondary office in Barcelona, which relocated to Seville in 2010.[3]
Works
- Doha Gardens project in Dammam, Saudi Arabia (2005), CityScape Award winner[4]
- Buildings at Foch 94 (2010), Saifi 146 (2009) , Waqf Foch (2011), and Saifi 178 in Beirut Central District and Saifi Village[5][6]
- Platinum Tower in Beirut, with Ricardo Bofill (completed 2009)
- House in the village of Bois-de-Boulogne above Beirut (completed 2012).[8] This house won Honorable Mention in Architectural Design / Residential Architecture from Architecture Masterprize.[9]
- Irani-Oxy Engineering Complex in the campus of American University of Beirut (completed 2014), the first project in Lebanon registered for a LEED certification[10]
- Skygate Tower in Beirut (completed 2014)[11]
