Nadya Dorofeeva

Nadiya Dorofeeva (Ukrainian: Надія Володимирівна Дорофєєва, romanized: Nadiia Volodymyrivna Dorofieieva; born 21 April 1990) is a Ukrainian pop singer, fashion designer, and member of the pop duo Vremya i Steklo.

Biography

Nadiya Dorofeeva was born 21 April 1990 in Simferopol. In her youth she won international singing and dance competitions in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Hungary. She was the finalist of the TV project Chance (2005). She studied at the Moscow State Art and Cultural University.[1]

In 2005 moved to Moscow. She sang in the band М.Ч.С. between 2005 and 2007.[2] After leaving the group she studied at the Moscow State Art and Cultural University.[1]

Since 2010 she has lived in Kyiv, where she sings in the group Vremya i Steklo.[1]

In July 2015, Nadya and Volodymyr Dantes got married, at a lavish celebration in Kyiv.

In February 2016, Nadiya Dorofeeva launched her clothing line "It's My DoDo". In 2017, she opened her clothing line "SoDoDo" together with Lera Borodina.

In 2018 Nadiya and her colleague Oleksiy Zavgorodniy voiced the heroes of Ukrainian animation film – "The Stolen Princess". Nadiya's hero is a princess's Mila.[3]

On 20 November 2020, Nadya released her first song as DOROFEEVA, gorit. In less than a week, the video clip has already more than two million views on YouTube. This was the start of her solo career, after the group Vremya i Steklo.[1] split up in March 2020.

Participation in musical events and shows

Nadiya Dorofeeva was one of the finalists of the Ukrainian-Hollywood reality show American chance, which later became part of the group (2008).

In 2012, she participated in the show reincarnation "ШОУМАSТГОУОН" (Show must go on) on the Novyi Kanal channel.

Since 11 October 2015, she has been a trainer on the show "Malenki hihanty" (Small giants) on 1+1.

In autumn 2017, she took part in a Ukrainian version of the show "Tantsi z zirkamy" (Dancing with the stars) on 1+1.

In autumn 2017, after "Tantsi z zirkamy", she became a coach (together with her colleague Positiff, part of Vremya i Steklo) on "Holos. Dity" (The voice kids) on 1+1.[4]

In 2018, Nadiya became a judge in the Ukrainian TV-show "Liha smikhu" (League of laughter) on 1+1.[5]
