Naveen Singh Suhag
Naveen Singh Suhag has gained recognition in combat Olympic sport discipline "Freestyle Wrestling" and has represented India and Switzerland at international stage in European as well as World Wrestling Championship. He is multiple time medallist at National level both in India and Switzerland and was a member of Indian, later on Swiss National Wrestling team.
Apart from being sportsmen, professionally, Naveen Singh Suhag is also a young entrepreneur based out of Switzerland having interests in various business ventures and Start-ups.
His field of interest is Telecommunications, MNO, MVNO, I.T, Real estate and Healthcare business. He founded Y-HLTH as a venture in HealthTech meant to aware and serve the underprivileged society in Indian Subcontinent. His area of work converges on Data Analytics and digitalisation of health records. He joined another innovative Swiss company in medical care as CEO/COO.
He has been acknowledged by India at UN (Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, Geneva) at “NAMASTE GENEVA 2018 - A Celebration of Indian Culture” at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva for his exceptional achievements and success story.
Academically, he has done his studies in India and Switzerland. He has completed his doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in sport science.
He bears a philanthropist nature and have been involved with “OriginUnite” based at Geneva and India based “StrongerIndiaOrganisation”. Under his social and philanthropist endeavours, he is a Global Ambassador of a social initiative from Geneva "OriginUnite", which is responsible for providing nutrients and food supplements to many malnutrition affected countries in Africa. He is also one of the founders of NGO in India under the name of "StrongerIndiaOrganisation" which works for poor children to help them to study further by providing them resources and finance as well as pushing young poor athletes to excellence by assisting them financially and morally.
He has been felicitated as one of the best Indian origin sportsman in Europe at 1st Haryana Parwasi Divas function held in Delhi NCR. The award was present by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Haryana State and Hon'ble Foreign Minister of India on 11 January 2017.
He was also awarded as Best NRI, Non-resident Indian Diaspora Award in New Delhi by Minister of Finance Govt of India in New Delhi.
He is a young and dynamic entrepreneur/social worker who is trying to make a change in various fields including sports management/ legal issues between various sports organisations and Athletes. He is author of various research papers and articles published in international journals.
Naveen’s strengths are his leadership skills, commitment to public service, communications skills, thrive excellence in each field and his creative ability to innovate. He has an immense network of contacts on an international level due to his sport, social and business background.
His hobbies include Yoga, meditation and golf.
