Nazish Jahangir

Nazish Jahangir[2] is a Pakistani television actress. Started acting in 2017, Jehangir is known for her role as Zoya in Thays, Faiza in Tohmat, Nimra in Kam Zarf and Shameela in recently concluded Kahin Deep Jaley.[1][3]

Life and career

Early life

Nazish Jahangir completed her education in Islamabad and since her school and college days, she always has been a creative person. She actively participated in her school, college and university theater plays. In 2015, she decided to give theater a try and got cast in a couple of Anwar Maqsood plays due to her impressive acting skills. Nazish has also been the face of renowned brands like Kapray, Gul Ahmed and Al-Karam. She has also done a number of TVCs and DVCs for major brands.[4]

Mental Health Awareness Advocate

Nazish Jahangir is one of the most vocal mental health advocates in the Pakistani entertainment industry.[5] The actress has talked about her mental health struggles openly at many forums and continues to do so.[6]

Film Debut

Nazish has just completed shooting for her first feature film as a lead actress. The film is called Lafangay and features an ensemble cast. In an interview Nazish revealed that the movie is a horror comedy and she is paired opposite Sami Khan.[4]
