The song was performed twelfth on the night, following Spain's Raphael with "Yo soy aquél" and preceding Monaco's Tereza with "Bien plus fort". At the close of voting, it had received 12 points, placing 6th in a field of 18.
The song is a ballad, addressed to a childhood friend, with Pascal asking if now that they are older he doesn't see that they have come to love each other rather than just be friends.
It was succeeded as Swiss representative at the 1967 Contest by Géraldine "Quel cœur vas-tu briser?" .
