History

Associated with Colorado's New Life Church, the worship group New Life Worship was launched in 1991 when Parsley formed the New Life Ministries. New Life Worship made their debut in 1998 with the album Celebrate New Life. A Christmas album was also released. Then, a third second album, titled My Savior Lives (2006). Later they launched the album Worship Tools - My Savior Lives (Resource Edition) (2007). Counting on God followed in 2008, and Jon Egan led the group on 2013's Strong God: Live, which featured the hit title track, "Strong God".[2] The band is known for its songwriters (Ross Parsley, Jon Egan, Glenn Packiam, Jared Anderson, Cory Asbury, Pete Sanchez) and worship leaders. It has released a number of albums including My Savior Lives, Counting On God, You Hold It All, Strong God, Soak, and songs such as I Am Free, Great I Am, My Savior Lives, and Here In Your Presence through New Life Worship and Desperation Band.[3] New Life Worship is now under the direction of Pete Sanchez while Jon Egan leads most Sundays at New Life North.
