Nicholas Caldwell
Nicholas Caldwell (April 5, 1944 – January 5, 2016)[1] was an American singer and musician, and original member of R&B vocal group The Whispers.

Life
He helped found The Whispers in Los Angeles, in 1963.[2] He composed some of their songs, including "Lady".[3]
Caldwell died on January 5, 2016 of congestive heart failure at his home in San Francisco. He was 71.[3][4]
