Nitya Mehra

Nitya Mehra is an Indian film director and screenwriter. After working in television and as assistant director in films like Ang Lee's Life of Pi and Mira Nair's The Namesake,[2][3] and The Reluctant Fundamentalist,[1] she made her directorial debut with Eros Now's romantic drama Baar Baar Dekho.[4]

Early life

Mehra was born in Amritsar into a Punjabi family. Her mother was a fashion designer. She attended the Welham Girls' School in Dehradun.[1][5]
