No-One (film)

NO-ONE is a 2018 Israeli-Ukrainian film co-directed by Lev Prudkin and Vladimir Prudkin.[1][2][3] The film premiered at the 40th Moscow International Film Festival on April 23, 2018.[4][5] The film received the awards for Best Cinematography and Best Feature Film at the Vienna Independent Film Festival[6] and Best Feature Film at the Winchester Film Festival.[7]

Synopsis

Mysterious events happen in Crimea during the collapse of the Soviet Union.

NO-ONE is a family revenge story that turns into a parable of eternal return and historical guilt. The main character is a talented and artistically gifted KGB general who has no illusions about the world he belongs to. He profoundly despises it, constantly changing masks and roles. Nevertheless, the universal karmic forces bring together events and people around him - a military coup, greedy relatives, betraying subordinates, the erotic adventures of an alienated wife - and his inevitable destiny unfolds.
