Danish text
- Land med fedtlængde,
- Det er hvad Kalaallit har som land,
- blandt hele bjerge,
- De mange fjorde ved kysten,
- velegnet som land,
- og kysten er plettet
- med øer.
- Det er så smukt
- at have som jagtmark
- hele kysten.
- Op nord og sydpå,
- der er et mødested for mennesker
- og hvor end du har jord
- der er et sted at bo.
- Ved fødderne af hendes bjerge
- og munden på hendes fjorde
- hendes indbyggere møder hinanden.
- Havet er deres domæne
- som de behandler så godt
- Det tilhører Kalaallit
- for evigt og altid!
English
- Land of greath length,
- That's what the Kalaallit have as a country,
- among entire mountains,
- The many fjords on the coast,
- well suited as a country,
- and the coast is speckled
- with islands.
- It is so beautiful
- to have as a hunting ground
- the entire coast.
- Up north and down south,
- there is a meeting place for people
- and wherever you have land
- there is a place to live.
- At the feet of her mountains
- and the mouths of her fjords
- her inhabitants meet each other.
- The sea is their domain
- which they treat so well
- It belongs to the Kalaallit
- until the end of time!
