Nurlan Bizakov

Nurlan Bizakov (Kazakh: Нұрлан Бизаков, Nurlan Bızakov) is a Kazakhstani businessman. He is the chairman and major shareholder of Kazphosphate, one of Kazakhstan's largest phosphorus producers.[1] He bought the company in 2007 from Nahum Galmor for an estimated sum of $120 million.[2] He also was the previous chairman and manager of the Shymkent Oil Refinery, before resigning in 2000.[3] Bizakov is currently chairman of JSC Sumbe, an oil exploration and trading company.[4]

Bizakov also participates in British horse racing and owns a farm in East Sussex.[3]
