Olivier Barlet

Olivier Barlet (born 1952) is a French journalist, film critic, scholar of African cinema and translator.[1]

Life

Olivier Barlet was born in Paris in 1952, and studied business at EAP-ESCP and in Germany.[2][3] From 1997 to 2004 he was editor-in-chief of the journal Africultures. He has also translated several books on Africa and by African authors.[4]
