Oosterland, Zeeland

Oosterland is a village in the southwest Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland, about 22 km south of Hellevoetsluis.

Oosterland was a separate municipality until 1961, when the new municipality of Duiveland was created.[1]

In 2001, the village of Oosterland had 2049 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.47 km², and contained 757 residences.[2] The statistical area "Oosterland", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2510.[3]
