Operation Majestic

During World War II, Operation Majestic was an alternate name for the intended Allied invasion of the southernmost Japanese home island of Kyūshū. The name was adopted after the name of Operation Olympic (a component of Operation Downfall), was compromised after being sent out in unsecured code.
