Origny-le-Butin
Origny-le-Butin is a former commune in the Orne department in north-western France. On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the new commune Belforêt-en-Perche.[2] Its population was 102 in 2017.[1]

The area was studied in the form of a microhistory by the French historian Alain Corbin in his book The Life of an Unknown (2001).
