History
PAREF Northfield School was established in June 1994, with a mere 17 families. The school aimed to provide a balanced academic and personal formation for its students, through the active collaboration of parents and teachers. It was initially known as Northridge, with a pre-school established by a group of stalwart parents attending the courses of Quezon City Educhild (Education for the Upbringing of Children Foundation). Northridge was founded on the need for a tandem school system in Quezon City, similar to the already established PAREF schools Southridge and Woodrose located in Muntinlupa City. Due to the naming similarity with Northridge Preparatory School in the United States, the gestating boys school in Quezon City was renamed Northfield.
